Dennis is a graduate of the University of Missouri College of Veterinary Medicine. He has recently retired after 36 years of veterinary practice, most of which were spent as an equine practitioner in the Kansas City metro area.
I graduated from Maple Woods Veterinary Technology program in 1981 then pursued a degree in Animal Science at the University of Missouri. I have been involved in some facet of veterinary medicine since leaving the university.
We live in Lee's Summit, Missouri and are thoroughly enjoying retirement. Our days are filled with managing our farm, spending time with family and friends, spoiling our three grandsons, and spending time in southwest Colorado.
Raising mules is both pleasure and passion for us. I briefly imprint the babies while Dennis breaks them to lead and begins the ground work. The 2-3 year olds are sent to Loren Basham at Pair-A-Dice Mules for training and finishing.
